Corporal Carter served as a Systems Alliance marine in the 4th Frontier Division on Cleopatra. Carter was the commanding officer of 2 Charlie during the Reaper occupation of Cleopatra.

He is a thoughtful and taciturn marine, but he is also noted as being "chatty", sometimes to a degree considered against noise discipline protocols. Despite this Carter has proven himself to be a reliable leader and is regarded as being rock-solid under pressure by his peers.
Equipment[]
Carter typically wielded the M-15 Vindicator and occasionally used a M-92 Mantis. He was clad in the Alliance-standard combat hardsuit with the Tactical Camouflage Module and the Active Sensory Disruption attachments for stealth purposes.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Born in 2185 on Eden Prime, Carter was one of eight children born to a farming family. Carter was referred to as the "problem child" of his family growing up and was often at odds with his father. The people that understood him most were his four older siblings as his younger siblings often took the side of his parents.
When his older siblings left Eden Prime for the Alliance Navy, Carter followed suit. Unfortunately for him, Carter was unable to meet the intellectual requirements of being a naval serviceman but the navy recruiter helped him by referring him to the marines.
Early Military Career[]
Carter was assigned to the Recruit Training Depot in Sito on Demeter. During training, Carter was certified proficient with a standard-issue M8 Avenger assault rifle, M15 Vindicator aswell as a lightweight combat hardsuit. He also completed certification inscouting and marksmanship, becoming extremely proficient with sniper weapons in the process.
After training, Carter was assigned to Fort Custer on Cascade's moon, Shasta. There, he would assist with Admiral Rushmoure's Siskiyou Campaign, an Alliance initiative to eradicate piracy and slaving in the system. Carter was deployed on various ground-side assaults on pirate bases located on several planets. During this, Carter earned many accolades.
