A Guardian Box is a machine built into all Asari vessels after 2188. It is a device that records information about the ship and it's happenings. It stores information on coordinates, it records transmissions to and from the ship, and it has a highly technological camera on the outside of the ship that records in all directions. The camera can see in different levels like thermal, x-ray, and night vision. It is also very durable so if a ship is destroyed, the cause of it's explosion can be discovered with the use of the Guardian Box.
