Welcome to Mass Effect Fan Fiction! Before throwing yourself in to writing your next masterpiece, be sure to familiarize yourself with the rules and guidelines here.

Rules

This is a simplified ruleset of official Mass Effect Fan Fiction policies. Click on every sentence to read the full policy.

  1. Obey canon Canon is the 'straight from Bioware' story of the Mass Effect universe. You can't randomly shout 'oh, all the humans went to war with the Salarians before the Contact War over a hot dog.'. Any articles that don't obey this will recive assistance from any members who can help.
  2. No editing other's property Any fan fiction somebody makes, belongs to them. Unless you have permission, any copying or editing of it will result in flaming ninjas jumping out of your PC and destroying you.
  3. Make Sense If it doesn't make sense... it really doesn't make sense.
  4. When creating articles, they must follow the layout guide and the manual of style
  5. Place your articles at least in one category
  6. All images must be properly sourced using {{Information}}
  7. Don't create clans
  8. If you create a custom signature, don't make it too large
  9. Use only one account, don't create alternative accounts to disrupt the wiki
  10. Assume good faith
  11. Don't disrupt Mass Effect Fan Fiction to make a point
  12. Don't impersonate another user
  13. Follow the naming conventions: articles about characters shouldn't have titles in them etc.
  14. Don't insult another user
  15. You may not revert an article more than three times a day, or otherwise you may be blocked (reverting vandalism doesn't count)
  16. To vote in votes, you must have at least 100 article edits
  17. If you violate these policies, you may be blocked
