Mr. Williams was the son of General Williams and father of Ashley Williams. Following in his family's tradition, he enlisted in the Systems Alliance military but was constantly held back in rank for his entire service career due to his father's actions in the First Contact War.
Biography[]
At some point, Mr. Williams followed in his father's footsteps and enrolled in the Alliance Navy. However, because his father surrendered the Shanxi garrison to the turians during the First Contact War, it stained the name of his family. Despite his hard work and dedication, Mr. Williams never rose above the rank of Serviceman 3rd Class.
Eventually, he had a wife and four daughters. Because of his military service, Mr. Williams and his family transferred a half-dozen times every two or three years before finally settling down on Amaterasu when he retired. His eldest daughter, Ashley, soon enrolled in the Alliance military directly out of high school. He was reportedly very proud of his daughter's success when she was commissioned as a Service Chief, giving her a salute.
He died sometime in 2178, leaving behind his wife and daughters. As a tradition, Ashley visits her father's grave whenever she comes home and reads Alfred Tennyson's "Ulysses", his favorite poem.
