Gunnery Chief Nathan Miller was a Marine Detail Commander aboard the SSV Pegasus under the command of Captain Ambrose in 2191.

Alliance Career

Miller joined the Alliance to get away from his verbally abusive mother, Penny Miller, and his physically abusive brother, Matthew Miller. Nathan graduated from N designate special forces training at the top of his class, and is the only N7 graduate, other than Ambrose, on the SSV Pegasus. Miller took many courses in marksmanship, and is particularly skilled in just about all light anti-infantry arms. When Miller registered aboard an Alliance vessel to serve on he needed a commander officer he could trust, and Ambrose fit the bill, being overall friendly and helpful to Miller.

The Reaper Threat

Miller was one of the few that believed Ambrose's claims about the Council's corruption and shunning of the lesser races, and that the Human Councilor, Zikan Drakon, was actually trying to overthrow the Council and Alliance and put Humans on top, as well as his tales of Commander Shepard's struggles against the race of ancient monsters called the Reapers.
