The SSV Waterloo was a Systems Alliance Navy Normandy-class Frigate. It was often informally referred to as The Loo by Alliance servicemen.
The SSV Waterloo was constructed at the Arcturus Shipyard near the Arcturus Station in 2185 CE.
It first saw action during the Ismar Purge in 2187 in which it was used in several scouting and ambush missions. It would later take part in the Battle of Arcturus in June of 2187 CE against a massive armada of Heretic warships. The ship was heavily damaged after engaging several formations of Dropships but managed to contribute a great deal to the Alliance's defensive efforts.
The ship completed repairs in January of 2188 CE and was reassigned to join Seventh Fleet to assist with the increasing numbers of batarian sightings in the Exodus Cluster. It was refitted with a Thanix Beam and Silaris Armor before joining it's new naval group.
Since it's construction, the SSV Waterloo has been under the command of Captain Jamie Townsend.
