Thunderbolt Shell

A Thunderbolt Shell is a 3,000 ton, payload-carrying projectile used exclusively by Olympia-class Dreadnoughts. The shell's exterior is built from three different sections; the base, fuselage, and nose. The base is the back end of the slug and has a spiral-like design that allows the shell to be fired quickly and accurately. The fuselage is the mid-section completely hollow and houses a heavy payload of depleted uranium. The nose is the front end and warhead of the shell. It is coated with polonium and can contain incendiary or cryogenic chemicals. The overall destructive ability of the Thunderbolt is equal to 40 kilotons of TNT.
